Job Brief (Senior Backend Software Engineer)

Overview of the Role:


A pioneering company in the Web3 domain is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Product Manager, well-versed in Web3 technologies, with a robust background in bringing decentralized blockchain products to market, particularly in enterprise-grade identity and privacy.

The selected individual will be integral to shaping and driving the product roadmap, aimed at integrating advanced blockchain and AI technologies within the natural resources sector. This is a role for someone who thrives in a hands-on, impact-driven environment, bringing a disciplined approach to product development. You’ll need a deep understanding of open blockchain ecosystems, EVM-based identity protocols, and a broad spectrum of privacy solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Contribute actively to the realization of the company's vision through fostering a strong developer ecosystem and strategic partnerships, while also spearheading new product initiatives.

  • Execution Focus: Manage and lead product development sprints with a clear emphasis on delivering live products and MVPs that are in line with Web3’s fast-paced evolution.

  • Roadmap Implementation: Oversee the discovery and execution phases of the product roadmap, ensuring the seamless deployment of solutions and leading the charge on new product developments where needed.

  • Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate closely with both technical and commercial teams to integrate and align partner products, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable solutions that cater to large market demands.

  • Business Development Support: Serve as the product expert in discussions with potential and existing partners, deepening your understanding of their needs and conveying this to the broader technical team.

  • Lifecycle Management: From initial discovery to launch, you’ll manage the entire product lifecycle, prioritizing engineering efforts and steering the development process.

  • Innovative Approach: Constantly seek out new opportunities to innovate, ensuring that the products remain ahead of the curve and aligned with market needs.

  • Market Insight: Continuously analyze trends and user feedback to guide product strategy and drive iterative improvements.

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Ensure all stakeholders are aligned through effective communication, maintaining a singular product vision and leveraging existing Web3 technologies.

  • Ecosystem Development: Enhance the developer ecosystem through improved documentation, onboarding, and overall user experience.

  • Performance Metrics: Take ownership of tracking key product and organizational metrics to ensure alignment with broader company goals.

  • Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for the product, both internally and externally.

 

Required Expertise:

  • At least 6 years of Product Management experience, with a strong record of success in bringing innovative and complex products to market.

  • Deep knowledge of Web3 ecosystems and blockchain technologies.

  • Proficient in building and managing protocol infrastructures and dApp ecosystem architectures.

  • Experienced in digital and decentralized identity protocols, and comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, and developer-focused products.

  • A creative mindset that fosters innovation and keeps the product offering ahead of competitors.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ownership and leadership of product-related initiatives.

  • Comfort in working within a fast-paced, startup environment, particularly in tech.

 

Compensation:
A competitive package with opportunities for significant upside.

 

Location:
Remote, with a preference for candidates based in Europe or Singapore. Swiss-based candidates are highly preferred.
