Role Overview:

An innovative organization at the forefront of Web3 is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Engineering. This leadership role will guide the continued development of the company’s technology stack, with a particular focus on decentralized, permissionless ecosystems. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled full-stack blockchain engineer, experienced in EVM environments, and well-versed in decentralized identity protocols, privacy solutions, and blockchain governance.

This role is integral to the company’s mission of transforming a traditional industry through cutting-edge blockchain and AI technologies. Your expertise in public, permissionless Layer 1 blockchain systems will be crucial in shaping and executing the technological strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Technology Leadership: Architect and lead the development of a robust blockchain infrastructure that supports a decentralized and open ecosystem. Your work will ensure the platform’s architecture meets the evolving needs of its users and stakeholders.

·       Product Collaboration: Partner closely with the product team to align engineering initiatives with the strategic product roadmap. You will help ensure technical solutions are scalable, feasible, and delivered within the set timelines.

·       Innovation in Identity & Privacy: Develop and implement advanced decentralized identity protocols and privacy-enhancing technologies such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP). Ensure the platform remains at the forefront of security and governance standards within the Web3 space.

·       Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate across teams, translating customer and stakeholder requirements into technical solutions. You will play a key role in integrating third-party solutions and driving new product developments when necessary.

·       Developer Ecosystem Building: Build and nurture a vibrant developer community around the platform. Engage with external developers by providing comprehensive documentation, streamlined onboarding processes, and continuous improvements to tools and user experience.

·       Performance Monitoring: Oversee key engineering and product performance metrics, aligning them with organizational goals. You will identify and act on opportunities for innovation, ensuring the platform maintains its competitive edge.

·       Security and Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities adhere to best practices in security and compliance, supporting the company’s commitment to responsible technology development.

Qualifications:

·       Experience: 7-10 years of engineering experience in Web3, specifically within EVM environments. A background in senior roles within public, permissionless Layer 1 blockchain teams is essential.

​

·       Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of EVM-based decentralized identity protocols, privacy solutions, and blockchain governance. Strong full-stack development skills with a focus on secure, scalable, and interoperable blockchain solutions.

​

·       Product Collaboration: Proven experience working closely with product management to translate product visions into actionable engineering plans.

​

·       Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, while remaining deeply involved in technical details. You will foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

·       Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

​

·       Network: Strong connections within the Web3 and EVM communities, with a history of active engagement and contribution.
