Overview of the Role:

Swiss Nexus is partnering with a leading global crypto platform on a mission to increase economic freedom worldwide. This company is building the emerging on-chain platform that will power the future of global finance.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the CDP API team — a group dedicated to creating the easiest way for developers to build crypto applications. These APIs enable developers to integrate crypto functionality in under 30 seconds, unlocking trading, lending, payments, and more.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about developer experience, open-source SDKs, and building scalable, secure systems. You will work across backend and frontend codebases, interact directly with customers, and help shape the next generation of crypto developer tools.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain open-source SDKs for embedded wallets using Typescript, React, React Native, Android, iOS, Unity, and Flutter.

• Build scalable authentication flows using OAuth, PKCE, Email/SNS OTP, and Passkeys.

• Implement and maintain HTTP REST APIs conforming to OpenAPI specifications.

• Author clear and concise documentation, including quickstart guides, to drive adoption.

• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate embedded wallets into products, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Engage directly with developers to gather feedback and improve APIs and SDKs.

• Evangelize SDKs within the crypto community to boost adoption.

• Build sample applications end-to-end to showcase SDK capabilities and validate developer experience.

• Troubleshoot and debug complex full-stack issues, ensuring stability, reliability, and security.

• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.

Required Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.

• Fluency in Typescript, React, React Native, plus strong experience in at least one of: Android, iOS, Unity, Flutter.

• Experience with authentication systems, IAM, public key cryptography, and secure storage mechanisms.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with crypto wallets, key management, and blockchain protocols (EVM, Solana).

• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear developer documentation.

• Operational knowledge of open-source community engagement and GitHub repo adoption strategies.

• Understanding of security best practices for financial systems.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary: €160k–€190k + Equity + Bonus.

Location:

• Remote, with preference for candidates based in Europe. Occasional in-person participation for team offsites is expected and supported.
